Summer Camp Programs

Wild Wander’s Summer Camp is an unforgettable, all-outdoor experience for curious kids aged 2.5–9 years, running Monday through Friday in some of Carlsbad's most beautiful wild spaces. Each week long session is filled with immersive, hands-on activities designed to deepen your child’s connection to nature while supporting their creativity, independence, and love of learning.

Camps take place at Lake Calavera, — which offers its own unique blend of habitats to explore and protect. Children will dig into real-world learning through storytelling, nature journaling, foraging walks, creek play, art-making, and dramatic reenactments of their own woodland adventures.

Whether they’re identifying native plants, building shelters from branches, painting with mud, or simply lying back and watching cloud shapes drift by, campers will engage in place-based learning that supports both environmental awareness and joyful self-expression.

Each week, your child will return home with muddy boots, sun-kissed cheeks, and stories brimming with wonder.
